STEVENSVILLE, Mich. -- A Political fundraiser titled “Battlefield Michigan” for the Berrien County GOP took place Friday evening. The event featured four speakers who shared their experiences related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and the plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
Approximately 200 people attended the event, where audience members had the opportunity to listen and ask questions. Victory Woodall, secretary of the Berrien County GOP, helped organize the event.
Among the speakers were William and Michael Null, twin brothers from Michigan who were charged and later acquitted in the Whitmer kidnapping plot. Their attendance drew attention as they spoke about their experiences in the aftermath of the case.
