Battleground Michigan: Paul makes campaign stops in Mitten State
MICHIGAN -- Romney and Santorum weren't the only candidates making stops in the Mitten State.
Ron Paul made a stop in Hudsonville Sunday. People packed the house to hear him deliver his message.
"We need to change this by changing the people's attitude about what the government should be doing,” said Paul. “The government under our constitution is not supposed to be running a welfare state or a warfare state. It's there to protect our liberties. That's what the job is. "
The speech marked the Texas congressman's second trip to Michigan. He also talked to supporters at Central Michigan University Saturday.
