MISHAWAKA, Ind.--- Music for a Cause is hosting a concert to benefit a Mishawaka teen with a rare form of cancer on Sunday. The concert starts at 5 at The Smokestack Brew in Mishawaka.
19 year old Kenzi Rice, has germinoma, a type of brain cancer. She's already had two surgeries and three rounds of chemotherapy to help combat the illness. Music for a Cause, an organization that puts on events for charities, heard Kenzi's story and decide to throw a benefit concert to help out the Rice family with health care costs and other expenses.
Doors open for the concert at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online here. The lineup for the concert includes, Autumn Academy, the Kickbacks, Praise the Fallen, and 5th and Syc.
