Berrien County Animal Control holds holiday party for pets

BERRIEN CENTER, Mich. -- The Berrien County Animal Control held a party for their animals.

It featured the canines and cats of the county. Animal control thought it would be a fun and creative way to raise some money for the organization.

They did adoptions, took donations, and even had free food and drink.

“It’s so important for them to see people, for them to know people care,” said Val Grimes, Director of Berrien County Animal Control. “When they get out, it always makes them feel better, just as it does us. When you get out and get away from things a bit. Just so they know they are loved.

The Berrien County Animal Control is also looking for volunteers, so if you are interested head into their local office.
