Berrien County fruit farmers dodge a bullet: No killing frost overnight

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Berrien County fruit farmers said that they dodged a bullet!
Right now, sweet cherries and peaches are in full bloom.
Temperatures dropped into the low 30s overnight.
We checked with Stover's Farms in berrien Springs on Tuesday afternoon.
Workers told us that they dumped water on the strawberries as a precaution, but the wind kept temperatures from dipping too low.
