Biden to speak at gun violence conference
HARTFORD, Conn. — Vice President Joe Biden will deliver the keynote address at a conference on the federal response to gun violence on Thursday in Connecticut.
The event is being held just a few miles from the scene of the December 2012 Newtown school shooting massacre.
Gun makers and lobbyists were not invited to participate in the conference.
But officials say gun rights advocates will have opportunities to express their points of views.
