Heat and storm chances increasing this weekend
ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Police Department reports a call came in around 1 p.m. Thursday for a suspicious bag behind the Key Bank at 2801 Cassopolis St.
Officers responded along with the Elkhart Police Department Bomb Squad.
The South Bend Police Department Bomb Squad also assisted in clearing the suspicious bag.
No threat was found inside the bag and the scene was cleared by 3:30 p.m.
