Bridges to Digital Excellence to give-a-way 100 computers

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- A slew of Michiana families are getting free computers for Christmas.

Benton Harbor based Bridges to Digital Excellence is doing a holiday give-a-way.

The group will give out 100 fixed-up computers and will go directly to families in need.

The non-profit organization teaches out-of-work folks how to take apart and build computers.

Bridges has already given away more than 3,000 computers to those in need.

"Any family can come in and pick up an application or a friend of somebody, if you know a family that needs a computer for Christmas, come in and pick up an application," Doug Chapman said.

You can get an application at either the location on at 165 W. Main Street in Benton Harbor or their new South Bend location at 3702 W. Sample Street.
