Buchanan celebrating “Nicest Place in America” title with Saturday event

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Reader’s Digest named Buchanan the “Nicest Place in America” earlier this month, and the city is coming together to host a celebration to help commemorate the achievement.
On Oct. 24 beginning at 3 p.m., Buchanan will kick off celebrations with a parade at McCoy Pond Park.
The celebrations will continue at the Common Stage, where featured speakers like Mayor Pat Moore will give remarks on the honor.
The event will also feature the Buchanan Band and The Van Dyke Revue.
