BUCHANAN, Mich. — A vote on bond language is set to take place at Monday's Buchanan school board meeting. Voters have already struck down a multi-million dollar bond proposal twice.
Buchanan Community School officials are hoping the new $14.3 million proposal will be more appealing. It will appear on the ballot of a special election in May.
Officials say it will not increase taxes. But it will extend the current millage rate for 20 years or until 2033.
