California man arrested on narcotic charges in Centreville

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. - A California man was arrested on narcotic charges in Centreville on Wednesday, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office.

Early Wednesday morning, deputies responded to an apartment complex in the 300 block of W. Main St. for a report of a suspicious male.

When they arrived, deputies found a man in a hallway in the complex.

During the investigation, deputies located a considerable amount of heroin in the man's possession, according to reports.

The man, a 61-year-old California resident, was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail on several narcotic-related charges.
