Candidates for Indiana governor agree to three televised debates

INDIANA -- Hoosiers will get a chance to hear the candidates for Indiana's governor race.

The Indiana Debate Commission announced that Democrat John Gregg, Republican Mike Pence and Libertarian Rupert Boneham have agreed to three televised debates.

The time and dates are still being worked out.

The commission is accepting venue applications. Requirements are listed on the commission’s website along with a venue application form. The deadline to apply is Friday, July 27, at 5 p.m.

In 2008, Merriville, Jasper and Bloomington hosted debates.
