CAPS Superhero 5k to be held virtually from June 26 – 29

The CAPS Superhero 5k will be held virtually this year and the money raised will help strengthen families and prevent child abuse.

The 5k will take place June 26 – 29 and those participating will choose the venue and will have a choice of biking, walking, or running.

Serious runners will need to keep their own time.

They advise that if a park is chosen for this event, be aware that bathrooms, picnic tables, and drinking fountains are likely not available to the public due to social distancing guidelines.

Registration is now open and ends at 12 p.m. on June 26.

Those that register by June 12 will receive a CAPS’ 5k t-shirt.

All registrants will be placed into a drawing for prizes and, following the event, will receive a certificate of completion and a virtual ribbon to display on social media.

Those that do not register are still able to donate.

For more information on suggested routes and to register for the event, visit the CAPS Elkhart website.
