Car hydroplanes, 10-year-old passenger transported to the hospital

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – A car traveling west on US 20, near CR 17, hydroplaned and hit a guardrail head-on, injuring a 10-year-old passenger, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
Wet road conditions caused the car to hydroplane
The 10-year-old was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and three other passengers were not injured.
