Casey Anthony files for bankruptcy

Casey Anthony is back in the headlines. The woman who was acquitted of killing her daughter is now filing for bankruptcy protection because of her long and expensive legal fight.


Just 18 months ago, Jury found her not guilty of killing her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. However, now she is facing the legal system again.


She has filed for chapter seven bankruptcy protections in federal court in Tampa. She owes $500,000 to her defense lawyer.
