Cass County Sheriff’s Office CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that it will be welcoming a new K9 partner to the team.
Officials say the new bloodhound pup will be training as K9 Britton's new partner. Britton is also a bloodhound.
The sheriff's office says bloodhounds play a critical role in tracking and search efforts.
The pup's training is said to start soon.
Officials say the puppy's name will be announced when she is presented to the Cass County Commissioners.
