CATCH HISTORY: New playoff merch for sale at Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Fans of the Fighting Irish are in luck because Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore is selling new merchandise for the upcoming playoff game on Friday against the Hoosiers.

ABC57 spoke with Irish fan Gary Hurt who said, "Gotta get my Notre Dame gear. I gotta get the first-round college playoff gear. That's what I gotta do. Go Irish!"

The Bookstore will be getting a new shipment on Wednesday that will have matchup merch and gameday pins. 

Marketing Manager of Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore Wren Mart recommends fans get to the store early before gameday to beat the crowds while supply lasts.

"We're going to get some really exciting matchup merch that's going to have all 12 teams on it, as well as the IU Notre Dame shirts that everybody is looking for. So that's going to be super exciting. We've also got those game day pins that everyone's always after. We're going to have plenty of those for folks who are coming in for the weekend," said Mart.

Mart says the most popular items are long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts and that men's extra-large sizes are selling out quicker, but they still have plenty of youth and women's shirts too.
