MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Twelve Chicago firefighters are biking halfway across the country to fight cancer.
The firefighters rode through South Bend and Mishawaka on Sunday night.
They are on their way to Pittsburgh as part of their 'Bike to Fight Cancer' fundraiser.
Because first responders can be exposed to unknown carcinogens at fire scenes, many of them have or know someone who has cancer.
If you would like to donate to the cause, visit their GoFundMe page here.
