Chicory Cafe brings a little New Orleans flare

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A cafe in South Bend is promising to serve up a little New Orleans flare for Fat Tuesday.
The Chicory Cafe on Jefferson Boulevard plans a full list of Fat Tuesday Festivities. It will be serving up traditional pastries.
The co-owners says it fits with the restaurant's french quarter design.
"We of course will have the music of New Orleans. And we'll be handing out beads so I think there will be a real feel for being in the French quarter," said Phil Schreiber, co-owner.
The cafe opens early Tuesday morning at 6:30.
