Cold lasts through Wednesday

Snow showers taper-off Wednesday as the wind turns and clouds break but temperatures remain cold. The warm-up begins Thursday, a focus will be on light precipitation Thursday morning that could be a setup for freezing drizzle and slick spots. Temperatures rise above freezing Thursday afternoon and the thaw lasts through the weekend.

Thursday: Cloudy, wintry mix possible, high of 36.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, high of 40.
