COLOMA, Mich. -- Coloma Intermediate School students are getting in the Valentine's Day spirit as a part of the school's Kindness Club.
The Kindness Club is a new gathering of students that is committed to helping kids build empathy and compassion for one another.
The new club created Valentine's Day cards for students and teachers that they thought could use some words of encouragement using the prompt "I think you're a kind Comet because…"
Students crafted cards on Thursday and will make more cards for those in need throughout the day on Friday.
