Common Council to hold emergency session over Boykins' forced resignation
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ABC57 News exclusively reported on Saturday that the Common Council of South Bend may hold an emergency session this week.
We just got word from the Common Council that the emergency session is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Members of the Common Council want to get all records leading up to former South Bend Police Chief Darryl Boykins' forced resignation.
The council would also vote on having an internal investigation done into the mayor's office.
