ELKHART, Ind. — Dozens gathered Saturday at Rice Cemetery to attend and show support for veterans.
The program featured a speech from Indiana 2nd District Congressman Rudy Yakym, who offered words of support for veterans past and present.
Elkhart Mayor Rod Roberson also spoke on the many ways that the city of Elkhart goes out of its way to support veterans.
Two veterans and longtime members of the ceremony honor guard were thankful for the presence of so many community members as well as the ongoing support of community leaders, both at the state and federal level.
