Concord, Baugo Township Fire Departments extricate driver from US 20 crash

Baugo Township Fire Department ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Concord Fire Department responded to US 20 just east of S.R. 19 around 12:22 p.m. Thursday for reports of a vehicle crashing into the median.
The Baugo Township Fire Department was requested to assist due to the need for extrication.
Crews arrived and removed the pickup truck's roof to retrieve the driver who was then taken to Memorial Hospital.
Authorities' preliminary investigation indicates the pickup crashed into the rear of a semi-truck before striking the median.
