Rainy start to the day, Fair by afternoon
ELKHART, Ind.-- Today, Concord High School Student Council hosted a Veterans Day celebration to honor and celebrate veterans in the community.
The celebration lasted from 9 to 10 A.M. and invited past and present service members from the community to attend, many of whom are Concord High School alumni.
Many faculty members shared personal stories of someone they know who has or is still serving in the military; the student body honored the veterans in attendance for their bravery and commitment to protecting our freedoms.
"For some people, this is their calling," says Senior Class President, Kessa Krecsmer. "...and we should be recognizing those people and eternally grateful for all of the freedoms to ours that they protect."
