ELKHART, Ind. -- Concord Junior High School is closed Wednesday after an anonymous threat was left in the boys' track locker room Tuesday evening.

The threat, found written on a wall in the locker room Tuesday evening, was dated for Wednesday, leading to the school to close "out of an abundance of caution" in a notice sent to parents on Tuesday.

In the notice, Concord Community Schools also stated that it has not yet discovered who left the threat, despite a thorough investigation. The message is believed to have been written shortly before Tuesday's planned track meet.

Only Concord Junior High School is closed on Wednesday, with all other schools in the area remaining open as normal.
