Congressional Art Competition to put winning piece on display in D.C.
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich.- High school students can submit entries to the 2023 Congressional Art Competition for a chance to win a spot in the Cannon Tunnel leading to the US Capitol building in Washington, D.C.
Artwork submitted must be less than or equivalent to 26 inches high, 26 inches wide and 4 inches deep, with the frame included.
To submit entries, students are instructed to take a picture of the artwork and send it in an email with a typed copy of the Student Release form, addressed to [email protected].
Michigan's 5th District Congressman Tim Walberg is hosting the national competition.
Rep. Walberg said, "Every single year, I continue to be impressed by the inspiring pieces of artwork created by high school students across the country."
The deadline for submissions is midnight on April 26.
