Construction company hits gas line

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Bendix Drive was blocked near Ardmore Trail Thursday afternoon. The road has since reopened.A construction company hit an unmarked gas line. The wind was blowing it toward the credit union, and the building had to be evacuated. The road just reopened at 4:15 p.m. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
