Continuing the warming trend from this weekend, highs will reach 80 degrees this afternoon amidst mostly sunny skies over our area. This warm air provides a sufficient environment for a few showers late tonight which last into the morning commute. Clearing occurs in the middle of Tuesday which leads to more rain as a cold front drops in during the evening. The severe risk is trending downward for Tuesday but hasn't gone away completely. Expect scattered thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and evening, some of which may be severe. Showers follow up late Tuesday night with quieter weather Wednesday morning. That following evening will also be filled with showers that linger into Thursday.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 79.
Tonight: Showers late. Low 67.
Tuesday: PM thunderstorms. High 80.
Wednesday: PM showers. High 65.
