Couple receives junk-mail for deceased daughter
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Their little girl died nearly 12 years ago but an Ohio couple says they are still getting mail for her.
The couple lost their daughter to a disease when she was three but now the healing process has been interrupted thanks to solicitors.
The couple says they are getting junk mail offering different experiences and products for their daughter as if she were still alive.
"No, I don't want this mail because my daughter can't travel internationally. My daughter won't get married. My daughter won't buy an American girl doll," said Kevin Levine, father. “This kind of stuff is just salt in the wounds."
The Better Business Bureau says the couple's problem is not surprising. Their daughter's name was likely sold on a list from a photographer at the hospital where she was born.
