Crews respond to fire on West Michigan Street in New Carlisle

NEW CARLISLE, Ind. – Fire units responded to the scene of a fire at a liquor store on West Michigan Street Thursday.
A call came in at 2:48 p.m. reporting the incident in the 500 block of West Michigan Street.
According to crews on scene, the fire was mostly contained to the second floor of the building.
No one was injured in the fire but an animal was recovered.
