Dangerous State Road 19 curve getting safety improvement

ELKHART, Ind. – Relief is near for folks living near Simonton Lake in Elkhart.
A dangerous curve along State Road 19 will be getting flashing lights. There's been more than 100 accidents on that stretch of road since 2004.
Drivers say cars travel too fast through the curve. INDOT recently visited the road to see the problem first hand.
The state is also considering narrowing the road from four lanes to two.
