ABC 57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, December 14, 2025
Lake effect snow showers will come to an end this afternoon, leaving 1-2 inches of fine snow in the snow belt region- Southern Michigan and Northern Indiana counties. Very cold air will settle in overnight with lows nearing zero degrees and winds making it feel like the negative teens. Dressing in layers is imperative, especially for those waiting on the bus stop tomorrow morning. Winds tomorrow could produce blowing and drifting snow--likely in rural areas in northern Michiana, where the most snow fell. Temperatures will finally warm by Tuesday afternoon, with above-freezing highs and even seeing the 40s by midweek. The chance for rain showers returns Thursday and could turn into a rain/snow mix as temperatures fall again into Friday.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, frigid. Low 0.
Monday: Partly cloudy, breezy. High 20.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High 34.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, mild. High 40.
