MISHAWAKA, Ind.—A Mishawaka favorite has reopened for the season and yes, the turtle cones are back!
Dari Fair reopened for the season on April 15.
Its temporary hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays. The ice cream shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but the hours will likely change once local schools are out for the summer.
Dari Fair offers a variety of items, including an almond milk vegan swirl and the social media-famous turtle cone.
A video posted to Dari Fair’s Facebook page last summer showing the making of the turtle cone collected over 16 million views and drew eager ice cream lovers from across the country to Mishawaka.
The turtle cone is made of vanilla ice cream with a caramel filling that is then dipped into a chocolate shell and covered in pecans.
Dari Fair is located in Mishawaka at 4012 Lincolnway E.
