Deer smashes through furniture store window in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- A deer smashed through a furniture store window Tuesday morning.

It happened at Schroeder Furniture on Hilltop Road in St. Joseph, Mich.

An employee said she heard a loud sound and went to check it out. She found the deer had come inside the store.

The deer was stuck in an area surrounded by glass. Employees then lined up furniture and corralled the animal back out the door.

The deer scampered off across a nearby road.

The deer was covered in sparkles of glass from bursting through the window. Because of the Christmas holiday right around the corner, the employee said the experience was "magical."
