Dentist replaces 4-year-old's teeth with silver crowns
PHOENIX — A four-year-old girl went to the dentist to get some work done on her cavities and left the dentist a mouth filled with silver crowns.
Savanna White went to the dentist to get fillings for her four cavities and left with every single tooth, top to bottom, covered in silver caps.
Her mother said she was shocked.
But other dentists say it was necessary.
"This is a child who is obviously very high risk for decay," said Dr. Richard Chaet.
Another dentist who saw the girls teeth offered to put on white veneers free of charge.
