Deputies identify woman found dead in ditch, seek info

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- Deputies have released the identity of the woman whose body was found in a ditch off Meer Road on Wednesday.
She has been identified as 24-year-old Ashleigh Nicole Blatz.
Her body was found by a bicyclist around 7:25 a.m. Wednesday.
The La Porte County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for assistance with any information leading to the circumstances surrounding her death.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
