Deputies recover stolen vehicles during suspect search

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department recovered two stolen vehicles and a stolen license plate while searching for a suspect.

Deputies say the vehicles, license plate, narcotics and a hypodermic needle were all located and recovered during search for a male subject in the 1100 block of Middlebury Street. The subject had valid warrants.

Two people who also had warrants were found sleeping inside one of the stolen vehicles. They were taken into custody and transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
