Dive team finds body of missing girl killed in Lake Corey
The St. Joseph County Dive Team searched all morning in Corey Lake for the body of a missing girl.
Their search came to an end at 2:50 p.m. when divers recovered her body.
Police say the mother was given a breathalizer although they don't think alcohol was a factor. The investigation will be turned over to the St. Joseph County prosecutor's office to see if any crime was committed by the mother.
A memorial fund has been set up in Daniella Vaca's name. Donations can be made at any Fifth Third Bank.

Right now, divers are focusing on two areas of interest.
Police say 10-year-old Daniella Baca was killed around 5:30 last night, when her mother accidentally ran over her with a boat.
Police told us the family is from Illinois and was vacationing on Corey Lake. Last night, they rented a boat from the marina.
Police told us there were two adults and three children on board at the time of the accident. Three other children were being pulled in an inner tube.
St. Joseph County Police say the mother was driving the boat. She told officers she made a sharp turn and one of the kids on the boat fell down. While she was tending to that child, the boat corrected and ran over the inner tube.
Police say there was a large amount of blood in the water. We’re also told all the children were wearing life jackets.
Once the investigation is complete, police say the case will likely be handed over to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
