DNR issues algae advisory for Mississinewa Lake

The DNR has issued an algae advisory.


They believe there is a form of toxic algae in the Mississinewa Lake in Peru, Indiana.

 

Swimming and boating is still allowed, but you should avoid direct contact with algae.

 

Avoid drinking the water and take a shower after swimming.
