CASS COUNTY, Mich. - The Dr. T.K. Lawless Park in Vandalia is hosting an event to showcase the Perseids meteor shower tonight.
Experts believe the best time to view the shower will be between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.
The park is an international dark sky destination, which makes it an ideal place to see the sky.
Amber Twardy spoke with a Cass County Board Member who helped organize tonight's event, Robert Parrish, this morning.
Please note, this is not an overnight event since camping space is limited in the park.
