Edwardsburg Public Schools switching to virtual Open Houses

EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- Superintendent James Knoll of the Edwardsburg Public Schools district announced on Tuesday that all Open Houses will now be hosted virtually instead of in-person on September 1.

All schools in the district are set to have these virtual Open Houses at 4 p.m. on September 1.

This change was made to avoid any possible transmission of COVID-19 between families and staff members.

The school district’s goal remains to be able to begin the year with masks being optional for students and staff.

Superintendent Knoll also noted that a final decision for whether masks will be optional or required in the Edwardsburg Public Schools district to start the year will be announced no later than August 31.
