Elkhart Community Farmers Market

ELKHART, Ind.-- It is day two of the Elkhart Community Farmers Market, and this is the first year the event has been held indoors.

People dropped by to pick up fresh fruits and veggies.

There were even baked goods, and a homemade craft stand.

The event is held four days a week and organizers said they've been busy since it started.

"I think its nice to have fresh fruit in our community. I love supporting local businesses and it's a great place to get produce that is tasty and has minimal pesticides." said Richard Bowling.

Right now, the market is working to get bigger and better.

Organizers are working towards having 12 vendors at any given time.

This is the third year for the market.
