Elkhart Community Schools hosting employment event

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Community Schools will be hosting the Teacher & Support Staff Recruitment Fair on Wednesday, Jan. 31. from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The event is being held in order to find those who are interested in the teaching profession. In addition, there are also positions for supporting roles, including classroom assistants, substitute teachers, building services/custodians, food services, and bus drivers/helpers.

Employees at Elkhart Community Schools are offered benefits, including medical/vision/dental insurance, a state-sponsored pension fund, parental leave, an on-site health clinic, and paid time off for qualifying employees. Salaries for new teachers start at $44,000.
