ELKHART, Ind. -- A two-vehicle crash in Elkhart Saturday night sent two drivers to the hospital.
According to deputies, a 45-year-old man from Montpelier, Ohio was headed south on State Road 19.
He was allegedly eating food while driving, which caused him to not see the red light at the intersection with the US Highway 20 ramp.
His car then rear-ended a 38-year-old man from Warsaw at the intersection, leaving damage to both vehicles.
A passenger in the first car was taken to Elkhart General Hospital along with the driver of the car that was rear-ended.
