ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – New Elkhart County Health Officer Dr. Bethany Wait joins ABC57 to discuss the vaccine rollout expanding across Indiana.
ABC57’s Brain Conybeare asks Dr. Wait about the demand of the vaccine and how that is being handled.
Among the questions asked includes if Elkhart County has enough supply to begin rolling it out to the elderly population; if the such high demand is a good sign considering the hesitancy surrounding the vaccine; if “reserved doses” would help local vaccination efforts; and what would happen if someone were to only get one dose instead of the recommended two?
