ELKHART, Ind.- An Elkhart man was found guilty of murder after a deadly stabbing back in 2021.
Following the three-day trial, the jury found Jake Brunette guilty of murder in connection with the death of 23-year-old Andrew Conley of Elkhart.
On November 17, 2021, officers were called to the 2300 block of Cassopolis St. for a report of a fight and a man who had been stabbed, according to police.
Conley died on the way to the hospital.
Brunette will be sentenced on March 9.
