ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. --Get your baskets ready! Elkhart is springing into easter with an egg-cellent egg hunt for the whole family.
This year Elkhart Parks and Rec are unleashing the QR code Easter egg signs hidden across ten parks in Elkhart.
The participating parks for this inaugural QR code Easter Egg Hunt are Edgewater Park, High Dive Park, Langle Park, McNaughton Park, Sterling Park, Studebaker Park, Ullery Park, Walker Park, Willowdale Park and Woodlawn Park.
Using their phones or tablets, users may scan the Q code to access a google form where they can answer questions and enter to win a prize draw.
The more QR codes scanned, the more entries participants receive for a chance to win prizes.
This year goodie bag comes with a squishmallow, a coloring book, some chalk and candy.
At the end of the hunt, they will pull one name out of the separate Google forms and will notify the winners to pick up their prize.
The egg hunt runs from now until Monday, April 8th.
