Elkhart Police investigating stabbing on State Street

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police are investigating a stabbing that happened Wednesday morning.
Around 7 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of State Street after a man called police after being stabbed.
The victim was in the grassy area between the sidewalk and State Street.
He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and released.
No arrests have been made.
Police believe the incident is isolated and there is no immediate threat to the public.
