NATIONAL--It's been two years since the deadly Capitol Attacks.
That day several protesters and capitol police officers died in the riots.
So far, 978 people in nearly all 50 states have been charged for their crimes that day.
Some of those charges include obstructing law enforcement, entering and remaining in a restricted building and assaulting capitol police officers.
According to the Department of Justice, 335 people have been sentenced for the attack.
Out of that number, 185 people are serving time in prison.
Morning anchors Rich Bodee and Summer Horan speak with Chad Kinsella, an assistant professor of Political Science at Ball State University about how the riots have shaped conversations, politics, and the future.
